Overview
The Product and Inventory Coordinator provides support for Ravago International by managing the flow of product from supplier purchase through receipt of material to the Warehouse. This requires a high level of attention to detail and proactivity in order to maintain the system up to date and the product information flowing.
Essential Functions- Product and Inventory Coordinator will input all receipts of incoming material to warehouses for all Ravago International Entities.
- Responsible for reconciling the warehouse receipt to all vendor supplied paperwork.
- Ensures accuracy of lots, packaging codes, nomenclature, weight of material, supplier, etc. and communicates with warehouse to verify discrepancies.
- Ensures receipts are entered into the system within the 24 hour guideline.
- Maintain proper records of each processed transaction.
- Performs necessary adjustments to close out small pounds or rounding calculations.
- Communicates to the appropriate Product Coordinator any significant material gains/losses reported by warehouses during the packaging process.
- Communicates any damaged material received to the appropriate Product Coordinator to resolve or attain disposition of material.
- Performs stock corrections of damaged or missing material with approval from product manager.
- Analyzes open railcar and open PO reports to identify any in transit delays and notifies appropriate parties for follow up with suppliers.
- Analyzes open jobbings and estimated packaging dates to ensure the warehouse has scheduled and completed each jobbing order within the required completion date.
- Follows up with the warehouse on packaging delays and analyzes sales reports to identify potential customer shipping delays.
- Communicates material packaging delays to Inventory Analyst, Export Coordinator and Transportation team.
- Analyzes reports to calculate warehouse packaging lead times and distributes information to the purchasing and inventory team.
- Relationship building and interaction with warehouses and other departments at multiple levels.
- Enable business continuity by promoting cross training with other members of the team.
- Participate in backup and load balancing process among members of the purchasing and inventory team during periods of high workload, vacation and time off.
- Responsible for fomenting and maintaining a cohesive team environment in the purchasing and inventory team.

Supplier contacts, Warehouse contacts, Freight Forwarder
- A four-year college degree and/or education and experience equivalent to be determined by Management
- Bilingual:
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish. - 3-5 years related business experience
- Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Exposure to E-Commerce and the Internet a plus
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Good at multitasking
- Proactive Approach and Accountability
