Warehouse Assistant

Overview

Reports to: Operations/Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting with all purchasing, receiving, and warehouse management. They will report directly to the Operations/Warehouse Manager and work closely with the Scheduling Coordinators or Sales Staff to determine what needs to be ordered at certain stages of projects.

• Purchasing all products required for upcoming and ongoing projects. This means working closely with the Project Coordinator or Sales Engineer to determine job-specific needs.
• Receiving all products that have been ordered and shipped through Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, and all TL/LTL and other couriers.
• Maintain the warehouse's cleanliness and product placement, placing all received products in appropriate job start piles for ease of access and delivery on project deployment (Rough/Trim/Finish/Punch/Service).
• Maintain vendor relationships through effective communication and handling shipment disputes in a reasonable manner.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ESC projects or equivalent warehouse/operations positions.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to work on your feet 40-50% of the day.
• Capability to lift up to 100-pound items, as needed.

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
