Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and flexible Substitute Teachers to join our Christian private school. The
Substitute Teacher will be responsible for delivering classroom instruction and maintaining a structured and nurturing
learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher. The ideal candidate will uphold the school's Christian
values, exhibit strong classroom management skills, and demonstrate a passion for guiding students academically
and spiritually. This is an on-call position, requiring availability to cover classes on short notice. It will require covering
various age groups and subjects depending on the need.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide instruction following the regular teacher's lesson plans or create a meaningful educational experience when
plans are unavailable.

- Ensure a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment.

- Uphold and model Christian values and integrate Biblical principles into teaching when appropriate.

- Effectively manage classroom behavior, maintaining student focus and engagement.

- Communicate with students in a manner that fosters understanding and respect.

- Collaborate with other faculty and staff, if necessary, to support student needs.

- Adhere to the school’s guidelines, policies, and procedures.

- Report any issues or concerns regarding students, classroom materials, or curriculum to the administration.

- Keep accurate attendance and ensure any necessary administrative tasks are completed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred).

- Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience (preferred).

- Strong commitment to Christian faith and the mission of Christian education.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility and adaptability to cover various grade levels and subjects.

- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
