Akkodis is looking for a Financial Analyst (Contract-to-Hire) in Ormond Beach, FL. Please review the details below:

Ideally, will assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, business models, and trend analyses. You should have a strong foundation in cost accounting, journal entries, and financial analysis to drive performance improvements and provide key insights. The role offers the opportunity for transition to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Pay Range: $40-$48/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business performance vs. plan and recommend actionable improvements.
• Benchmark key performance indicators against industry competitors and internal sites.
• Develop financial models for various business scenarios with a focus on:
• Product and business line profitability
• Product costing
• Production variances
• Over/under-absorption
• Inventory analysis
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Summarize data and create presentations of financial findings, trends, and recommendations for management.
• Support month-end close activities, including cost accounting entries and journal entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including handling large datasets and complex functions.
• Experience with cost accounting and preparing journal entries.
• Proficiency in SAP is preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
