Quest Work spaces is an office and coworking company in the United States. Founded in 2010, Quest is a privately held, entrepreneurial company with approximately $35 million in annual revenue, 14 locations across Florida and Manhattan, and more than 1,000 clients.

Our business combines commercial real estate, hospitality, sales, and recurring service revenue. We operate with a lean corporate team and a focus on profitability, efficiency, client experience, and continuous improvement.

South Florida-based candidates are preferred, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement and regular in-person collaboration at our Miami headquarters.

We will also consider highly qualified candidates elsewhere in the United States for a primarily remote arrangement, provided they can travel to our Miami headquarters approximately quarterly for in-person meetings, collaboration, and business planning.

Our priority is finding the right financial leader, regardless of geographic location.

We seek a business-minded CFO who brings more than traditional accounting and financial oversight. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will MANAGE AND OVERSEE financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial systems, and performance analysis.

The CFO will lead an established internal finance and accounting team of approximately four people, supported by an outsourced accounting professional. This is not a position overseeing a large department. The successful candidate will be comfortable both setting direction and personally diving into detailed financial and operational work.

A key priority is maximizing the effectiveness, EFFICIENCY AND PERFORMANCE of the existing team through stronger processes, technology, automation, and thoughtful use of AI. The CFO will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO, translating financial insight into practical decisions and measurable PERFORMANCE improvements.

• TAKE DIRECT RESPONSIBILITY, OVERSIGHT AND IMPLEMNTATION of ALL accounting, monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls.
• Oversee company-wide and center-level P&Ls, AP, AR, billing, reconciliations, payroll preparation, and coordination with outside accounting professionals.
• Maintain effective financial discipline, cash flow visibility, and relationships and reporting involving banks, lenders, landlords, and other stakeholders.

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly reviews of actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Identify the drivers behind revenue, expense, margin, and profitability variances across centers, departments, and revenue streams.
• Develop meaningful KPIs, dashboards, models, and scenarios that support forward-looking decisions and improve profitability and cash flow.
• Provide concise recommendations and help leadership implement corrective actions, rather than simply presenting numbers.

• Understand Quest's operating model, including occupancy, pricing, sales, client retention, staffing, vendor costs, and center economics.
• Partner directly with the CEO and leadership on decisions affecting costs, pricing, staffing, capital expenditures, and performance.
• Challenge assumptions, identify inefficiencies and opportunities, and take an active role in delivering improvements.
