Clinic Waiting Room Greeter (Daytona Beach)

The FCS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 and located at 5204 Paylor Lane in Sarasota, Florida. The Foundation assists cancer patients across the state, with 100% of donations going directly toward non‑medical living expenses for adult patients battling cancer.

We’re looking for a Clinic Waiting Room Greeter to create a warm and friendly atmosphere from the moment patients and visitors come through the clinic doors.

• Greet patients and guests with a smile and friendly voice.
• Offer water and coffee while patients and guests are waiting.
• Keep the waiting room neat and tidy.
• Engage patients and guests in light, easy conversation.
• Provide wheelchair assistance when needed.

Shifts are typically Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm. A minimum time commitment of 3 hours per week for at least 6 months is required.

• Submit a volunteer application.
• Complete a phone interview.
• Undergo a criminal history check and drug/nicotine screening. Please note that FCS is a nicotine- and medical‑marijuana‑free workplace.
• Complete a health screening that includes TB testing and proof of immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella.
• An annual influenza vaccine is required (August 1 through March 31).
