About

This Role

Thank you for considering a career with BASS ABA Therapy! BASS is looking for an entry‑level Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who can positively impact the lives of children and their families, while growing their career prospects.

As an RBT you will work directly with individuals receiving ABA therapy and will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help clients improve communication, social, and daily living skills. Your role will involve both center‑based and community work, collaborating closely with a team of RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBAs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete the 40‑hour RBT training course (paid) and pass the BACB RBT exam within 30 days of employment, if not already certified.
  • Complete CPR training (paid) within 30 days of hire.
  • Work 1:1 with BASS clients receiving ABA therapy.
  • Collect and enter electronic data related to programming developed by the BCBA.
  • Complete daily notes at the conclusion of each session and upload them into the relevant databases.
  • Maintain open communication with the BCBA regarding client progress.
  • Provide ABA therapy in home, school, and community settings as directed by the BCBA team.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work at multiple locations throughout the work day.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, run, stand on feet, and lift items up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a background check
