We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a great school in Ormskirk starting as soon as possible. Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

• Work closely with a specific student to support their learning and progress across the curriculum.
• Assist with adapting lesson materials to meet the student's individual needs.
• Promote student engagement, confidence, and independence.
• Liaise effectively with teachers, SENCO, and parents/carers.
• Support the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour.

• Experience working with young people in an education setting, particularly those with additional learning needs, is desirable.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable.
• Able to work collaboratively with staff.
• A relevant qualification (e.g. Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is an advantage.

• Hold Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years.
