The Role
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a proactive and highly organised T Level Placement Coordinator to join our dedicated Employer Engagement team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about connecting education with industry, building strong employer partnerships, and creating meaningful, high-quality placement experiences for students across T Levels, Work Experience, and Higher Education programmes. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting student success by securing, coordinating, and monitoring industry placements that align with curriculum objectives and employer needs.
YourResponsibilities Will Include
- Securing and developing high-quality industry placements for T Level, Work Experience, and Higher Education students, building sustainable relationships with employers to encourage repeat engagement.
- Collaborating closely with curriculum colleagues to understand programme requirements, set clear placement objectives, and ensure students are effectively prepared and matched to suitable employers.
- Managing and monitoring placement processes, ensuring compliance with DfE and QAA requirements, maintaining accurate audit trails, and upholding robust safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Supporting students throughout the placement journey, including CV development, interview coordination, expectation setting, and tracking progress and completion.
- Contributing to continuous quality improvement by gathering and analysing employer and student feedback, maintaining accurate management information, and supporting the enhancement of work-based learning provision.
- Working in partnership with the Careers Team and programme staff to ensure students are equipped with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace.
