Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining public spaces, and likes practical, hands‑on work? We're looking for a District Caretaker to join our Facilities Services team based at Westgate, Skelmersdale.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in keeping our local communities clean, safe, and well maintained while working as part of a dedicated and supportive team.

• Operating a range of handheld equipment, including:
• Weed sprayers
• Strimmers
• Hedge trimmers
• Leaf blowers
• Jet washers
• Carrying out basic DIY and minor maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard.
• Working safely and following all health and safety procedures.
• Completing tasks efficiently as directed by supervisors.
• Contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

We're seeking a reliable, hardworking individual who enjoys practical work and takes pride in delivering high-quality results.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working in a manual or operational environment.
• Experience using handheld grounds maintenance or landscaping equipment.
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to health and safety and following procedures.
• A full UK driving licence (desirable).
