Working closely with the Shift Manager, this role will supervise the day to day running of a specific area in production. This will require leading and enabling teams to achieve targeted KPI levels which include Health and Safety, Quality, Waste, Productivity, Housekeeping. Other duties include:
Coaching and challenging individuals and teams to increase their capabilities and performance. Enabling continuous improvement as a key aspect of manufacturing performance, customer service and quality. Complying with DS Smith standards and processes at all times. The successful candidate will be required to complete and work in line with module 4 Team Leader training plan.
- Experience of leading/supervising a team is preferred
- Good interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and whilst working to demanding deadlines
