Part‑time Registered Nurse Nights – Burscough Manor Care Home

• £25.45 per hour
• 1 night shift per week (12‑hour contract)
• 8 pm – 8 am shift

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well‑being.
• Administer medications, monitor residents’ health conditions and provide regular updates to the care team and families.
• Develop and update individual care plans for residents based on their changing needs.
• Supervise and mentor care assistants and junior staff members.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, maintain high standards of hygiene, and follow health and safety protocols.
• Provide end‑of‑life care with dignity and compassion when required.
• Assist with the training and development of new staff.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Overtime is paid for working over full‑time hours. Overtime enhancement will not be featured on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time at the manager’s decision. Free meals are given if working over an 8‑hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using the ‘Reward Me’ app; flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.

• Proactive attitude toward problem solving and capable of making decisions under pressure.
• Valid NMC registration and experience delivering care to elderly residents, including those with complex health needs.
• Previous experience in a nursing home setting is beneficial but not essential.
