Code Sensei

Part Time – up to 20 hours/week. Weekdays and weekends.

Code Ninjas is the nation’s fastest growing kids coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5‑14 learn to code in a fun, non‑intimidating way by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem‑solving. Our promise is:

We’re looking for a Code Sensei to join our team. The role focuses on providing a safe, engaging learning environment for children. The Sensei oversees day‑to‑day coaching and student engagement.

• Train by studying the curriculum
• Create a positive, safe environment for student growth
• Work with children to assess skill levels
• Provide feedback to parents following sessions
• Maintain cleanliness of the dojo (center or mobile dojo)
• Report daily to supervisor on activities and productivity

• Experience working with children ages 5+ (mentoring, coaching, tutoring)
• Experience interacting with the general public
• Teaching, mentoring or childcare experience
• Collaborative team player
• Fun, energetic, and adaptable in fast‑paced environments
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of coding and technology or ability to learn quickly

• Must be able to work certain evenings and/or Saturdays (for marketing/events)
• Must be willing to travel as needed
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs

Compensation: $15.00 – $16.50 per hour
