Travel or Local Pharmacist

Seeking a dedicated Retail Pharmacist to join our team, providing high-quality patient care and pharmaceutical services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing pharmacy operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Medication Dispensing: Accurately fill prescriptions and verify dosages while ensuring patient safety.

Patient Counseling: Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company pharmacy laws and policies.

Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order medications, and manage inventory control.

Team Leadership: Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.

Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.

Insurance & Billing: Process insurance claims and assist customers with payment and coverage issues.

Education: Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm

D) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.

Licensure: Valid pharmacist license in the state of employment.

Experience: Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred but not required.

Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in pharmacy software systems.

Work Environment: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
