Night Shift - 19:00 to 07:30, 36 hours guaranteed, with rotating weekends.

The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education;

delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership in patient care planning and implementation.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education initiatives.
• Supervise and direct the efforts of nursing staff and other personnel.

• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required.
• Must have an active Arizona nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Cerner experience is required.
• Preferred certifications include TNCC or CPI, NIH.
