Valora Orono, a new Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for an Executive Director to join our growing team!

Valora Orono is nestled in the pristine Orono community, just minutes from the charm of downtown Wayzata, Lake Minnetonka, and Long Lake. Our community is conveniently located on Kelley Parkway in Orono. We are just a short drive from downtown Wayzata and Long Lake, easily accessible from US-12 / I-394. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 72- unit apartment-style community providing Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services.

Shifts Available: Full Time Monday
-Friday, MOD
Wage: $80,000-$120,000 annually, depending on experience and community budget.

In this position, you will lead and direct the overall operations of the facility in accordance with customer needs, government regulations, and company policy and procedure, with the focus of maintaining excellent care for the residents/tenants while achieving the facility’s business objectives.

Duties include:

  • Monitors each department’s activities, communicates policies, evaluates performance, provides feedback, assists, and observes coaches and disciplines as needed.
  • Develops an environment that allows for creative thinking, problem solving, and empowerment in the development of the facility management team.
  • Oversees and conducts regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of the facility, morale of the staff, and ensures resident needs are being addressed.
  • Monitor Human Resources to ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and to ensure practices that maintain high morale and staff retention including effective communication, prompt problem resolution, and a promoting a proactive work environment.
  • Develops positive relationships on behalf of the Company with government regulators, residents, families, area healthcare providers, physicians, and the community at large.
  • Manage facility budgets and business practices to include labor costs, payables, and receivables.
  • Ensure a marketing strategy for the facility is developed and implemented that reflects service opportunities, completion, potential market area changes, and maximizes census, payer mix, and ancillary revenues.
Qualifications
  • Licensed as Assisted Living Director in the state of operation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Gerontology, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, and/or advertising.
  • Passion and experience in working with memory care.
  • Minimum of two years management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care.
  • Annual reviews with wage increases
