Site Supervisor – Woodland Early Learning
Provide overall management and supervision of the CDC Infant, Toddler and Preschool program. Manage, coordinate and maintain an infant, toddler and preschool site. Hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff. Maintain required child/staff ratio. Market and promote the program and ensure full capacity.

- Hire, train, supervise, evaluate staff and conduct regular staff meetings.
- Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including medical, disciplinary, child abuse prevention and emergency procedures.
- Maintain safety of site and children by implementing health care plan, risk management and emergency procedures.
- Maintain accurate records according to YMCA and Community Care Licensing standards, including attendance, immunization, registration and sign‑in records.
- Demonstrate the “Character Counts” values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility in all dealings with members, guests, volunteers and staff.
- Coordinate and maintain positive public relations and clear communications with parents, staff, volunteers and school personnel.
- Prepare and publish a monthly parent newsletter.
- Ensure that supplies are maintained and purchased within the operating budget.
- Market and promote the program and ensure full capacity.
- Maintain the daily cleanliness and safety of the site.
- Work with Sac Central Summer at the Y Director as a partnership of programs.
- Create new program opportunities.
- Operate programs within budget and keep up to date with parent payments and aging reports.
- All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Meet the Site Supervisor qualifications outlined by the CDSS, including a permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing or a current credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- CPR/First Aid certification (must be completed within the first 60 days of employment).
- EMSA Preventative Health & Safety with Nutrition and Lead Poisoning for Child Care Providers Certificate or ECE coursework that covers lead.
- Mandated Reporter certification, copy of degree/transcripts, proof of vaccinations (Tdap, MMR and flu).
- 4 years experience teaching in a licensed center.
