Vertu Ford Orpington

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Vertu Ford Orpington. This is a Full‑Time, permanent role where we are offering a basic salary of £32,000 plus an excellent range of company benefits. This role is based at our Ford Orpington site, however you will also be supporting our Ford Bromley dealership.

You will work alongside the accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team, and as an aid to business decisions. Alongside day‑to‑day accounts you will also complete the following tasks:

  • Forecasts
  • Estimates
  • Assist with the production of the Management Accounts
  • Payroll
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and Prepayments
  • Cash Flow
  • Reconciling Manufacturer Bonuses
  • Credit Control

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Assistant Accountant within the motor trade. A working knowledge of the Kerridge accounting system would be ideal but not essential. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all financial and non-financial colleagues, clients and customers.
