Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting Ayerst Environmental in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their growing team in Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a well-established asbestos consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across the South East. The successful candidate will undertake a varied mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties.
THE ROLEAs an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
, you will be responsible for carrying out both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a diverse portfolio of client sites throughout Kent and the surrounding region.
Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will ensure all work is completed to the highest standard while maintaining full compliance with current HSE guidance and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG
264 - Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG
248 - Producing accurate, detailed, and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
- Carrying out bulk sampling and maintaining accurate site records
- Working across commercial, industrial, public sector, and residential properties
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS standards
- BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and UKAS requirements
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to manage workloads independently
- Full UK driving licence
