A specialist SEN setting in Orpington, Bromley is looking for a PMLD Support Assistant to support pupils with complex additional needs. This is a specialist support role for someone comfortable with complex needs and personal care. This is a practical, hands‑on support role. The school needs someone caring, resilient and confident working with pupils who may need communication support, sensory support, personal care or structured routines.
Whatthe role involves
- Supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, PMLD or EHCP-linked needs.
- Helping pupils access learning and daily routines.
- Working closely with SEN teachers, therapists and support staff.
- Providing consistent, patient and reliable support.
- SEN, care, support work, school or youth work experience.
- Someone comfortable with practical support.
- Patience, resilience and strong communication.
- A person who can stay calm and consistent throughout the day.
Pay: £95 - £120 per day
