About The Role
As an HLTA at Clannad School, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across our provision. You will work closely with teachers and the wider multi‑disciplinary team to deliver engaging, personalised sessions that meet the diverse needs of our pupils.

No two days are the same. You will support children and young people who may face barriers to mainstream education, requiring a flexible, creative, and therapeutic approach to learning. Your contribution will be vital in helping learners build confidence, re-engage with education, and achieve their individual potential.

In This Role, You Will
- Support and deliver high-quality learning sessions
- Create safe, nurturing environments tailored to individual needs
- Contribute to a broad and flexible curriculum, including academic, vocational, and therapeutic elements
- Work collaboratively within a skilled multi‑disciplinary team
- Provide consistent, child‑centred support to help young people thrive
- Monday to Friday
- 08:30 – 16:30
- 37.5 hours per week
- Term time only (in line with local authority academic dates)
- Base location:
Clannad School, Orpington - The role is primarily school-based
- £24,865 – £27,021 per annum
