A manufacturing company whose HQ is based in Crewe is looking for a mobile facilities engineer who is mechanically trained to work with the electrical engineer based in and around Orpington, Kent. This role will involve going out on site and implementing, fixing and servicing industrial pumps.

• Attend nationwide installation and breakdowns when necessary and ensure that call out policy is maintained
• Service, repair and assembly of pumps and pumping equipment
• When requested be available on a rota basis to provide standby cover over weekends and bank holidays
• company procedures and improve where possible
• Complete site reports after each visit, obtain a customer signature and submit promptly
• Be a good ambassador for the company, promoting all products and services at every opportunity
• Ensure that the company vehicle is stocked and van-stock and tools required at all times
• Identify training needs

• Mechanical qualification - Desirable
• Confined space training - Desirable
• First Aid - Desirable
• CSCS - Desirable
• SSSTS - Desirable

• 30 days holiday including bank holidays
• Hourly rate £20ph based on 40 hours a week, plus overtime
• A van share with the electrical engineer
