Managing Security Architect

Experteer Overview

In this role you own the end-to-end SOC architecture, shaping how platforms, detections and controls evolve to meet regulatory and client needs. You will drive security-by-design, influence technology adoption, and lead maturity work toward CREST accreditation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, scalable designs and roadmaps. This position offers hybrid working, with SC and DV clearance eligibility as prerequisites.

• Own SOC architecture to meet regulatory and assurance requirements
• Document high- and low-level security control designs and testing needs
• Set and govern standards for detection content, rules, and correlation logic
• Act as technical authority for client security designs and technology roadmaps
• Lead SOC maturity work to support CREST accreditation
• Identify and introduce technologies to enhance analyst effectiveness, including automation and AI

• Experience designing or owning security architectures within SOC, MSSP or complex security environments
• Strong understanding of detection and SOC operations
• Ability to oversee security platforms and integrations holistically
• Knowledge of governance, compliance and accreditation requirements such as CREST
• Experience assuring technical architectures using secure design principles
