Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring maximum equipment up-time is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines.
• The implementation of preventative maintenance.
• Responding to radio calls from Ops teams on urgent breakdown or repair works.
• Engaging in team safety initiatives, such as the TAKE 5 review
• Ensure appropriate safety tools are used when performing maintenance works (LOTO, TAKE
  5)
• Reporting hazards and repairs to maintenance supervisors

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

• Fitter and turner trade qualification and post-trade experience of at least 2 years, ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Understand work planning and scheduling procedures.
• Additionally, a passion for sustainability and a willingness to embrace innovation are key attributes that will set you up for success in this role.
