Description

Vaughan Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Trauma Unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to trauma patients, collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assess and monitor trauma patients' conditions.

Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required.

Assist in trauma management and provide emotional support to patients and families.

Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with standards.

Respond to emergencies with critical care skills.

Educate patients and families on post-treatment care.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
Prior experience in trauma, emergency, or critical care nursing preferred.
