About the Role

Join SMS group as an accountant in our Osceola team. Prepare and maintain financial statements, support audits, manage month‑end closing, and reconcile accounts.

• Assist in preparing, maintaining and ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Analyze cost trends, material cost analysis and customer profitability to improve the bottom line.
• Support monthly financial closings and reconciliations.
• Reconcile WIP, storeroom, accounts payable and accounts receivable to GL balances daily.
• Process accounts payable invoicing and enter A/P into the business system.
• Process customer invoicing and cost clearing.
• Prepare, analyze key financial metrics and present findings to plant management.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts, physical inventory, and aged inventory analysis.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and queries for corporate and plant management.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 3–5 years accounting experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong financial analysis and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently or as a team.
