Safety Coordinator
Location:
Osceola, AR
Pay: $45 - $50 per hour
Schedule:
7 days per week, then transition to working 4 10-hour days

- Conduct daily job site safety inspections and audits
- Enforce OSHA compliance and company safety policies
- Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and hazard assessments
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; complete reports and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety training for employees and subcontractors
- Maintain safety documentation including permits, inspections, and incident logs
- Monitor PPE usage and ensure proper safety equipment is available and maintained
- Coordinate with project managers and supervisors to ensure safe work practices
- Assist with development and updates to site-specific safety plans
- Support emergency response planning and drills
- Track safety metrics and maintain OSHA logs (300, 300A, 301)
- Lead root cause analysis following incidents
- Stop unsafe work and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Safety coordinator with construction experience
- Able to lift 75 lbs.
