Lab Assistant

• Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 8am-6pm

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Lab Assistant to care for our patients at the Osceola Medical Center located in Osceola, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

Osceola Medical Center provides complete care for your family, as well as offering walk-in hours for convenient treatment of a range of illnesses and injuries.

Assisting staff with clerical and customer service duties, and collecting patient samples per center policy and guidelines.

• Acts as receptionist welcoming patients as they arrive and collecting all necessary documentation prior to procedures taking place
• Files and maintains patient records
• Reports test results to appropriate facility and personnel
• Collects patient samples following outlined procedures for documentation and storage

• Experience:
  
  Prior lab, phlebotomy experience preferred
• Skills:
  
  Excellent customer service skills are required; ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Licensure/Certification:
  Certified in phlebotomy preferred but not required

Full-time, 8am-6pm, with occasional Saturday walk‑in hours required.
