Roll Shop Technician

Summary

A Roll Shop Technician completes the daily tasks that are associated with working in a roll shop such as and not limited to housekeeping, chocking/dechocking rolls, grinding rolls, and overhead crane rigging and movement.

• Be safety minded and wear required PPE
• Maintain housekeeping in Area Of Responsibility(A.O.R)
• Maintain acceptable attendance
• Show willingness to learn new tasks/jobs
• Be self-motivated when not given a specific task
• Take direction from leads and supervisors
• Maintain time keeping documentation

• Education:
  
  High School/Equivalent
• Related
  
  Work Experience:
  
  Two to Three years of experience in a specific equipment function or manufacturing environment is preferred;
  No supervisory experience is required
• Certifications:
  
  Crane and forklift is preferred – in house training provided to obtain certification
