Job Requirements and Duties- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
- Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
- Possess navigation skills and the ability to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain (including multi‑story buildings).
Job Duties
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients and manage inventory.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training will be provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Operate a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Navigate to delivery addresses and handle adverse terrain while carrying product.
- Use motor coordination between eyes and hands to make precise movements quickly.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- Workplace temperatures range from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F and above in some sections.
- Exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
- Work in cramped quarters, including a walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces or tools, up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Adverse weather conditions while delivering product, driving, and couponing.
- Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile with linoleum. - Walking:
For short distances and short durations; delivery personnel must travel between the store, vehicle, and customer locations. - Sitting:
Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table. - Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) are unloaded by hand truck; cases are lifted from floor and stacked up to 72 inches high. - Carrying:
Large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough are carried during work and delivery. - Pushing:
Trays on dollies require a force of up to 7.5 pounds. - Climbing:
Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders to change prices on signs, wash walls, and perform maintenance; five or more flights of stairs may be required during delivery. - Stooping/Bending:
Forward bending at the waist occurs at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients. - Crouching/Squatting:
Performed occasionally when stocking shelves and cleaning low areas. - Reaching:
Extensive reaching up, down, and forward; reaching above 72 inches to turn on/off oven controls and lift/lower objects from shelves. - Driving:
Deliver pizza within the designated delivery area; multiple deliveries per shift are possible.
