Junior Accountant

Location: Port Perry

We’re looking for someone motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to grow, with a solid foundation in accounting and tax principles and a commitment to high‑quality, client‑focused work.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare T1 Personal Income Tax Returns

Prepare T2 Corporate Income Tax Returns

Prepare year‑end adjusting journal entries and working paper files for Compilation Engagements (Notice to Reader)

Accurately enter and categorize financial transactions in accounting software (Quick Books Online and Desktop)

Perform reconciliations of bank, credit card, and other financial accounts

Prepare and file HST/GST returns on a timely basis

Communicate with clients to collect information, clarify details, and provide updates

Maintain and organize client files in a secure and systematic manner

Provide support to senior accountants and partners

Requirements

Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience with accounting software (Quick Books Online/Desktop);
Case Ware is an asset

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to travel to our Port Perry office as required
