Accounting Technician - Assurance & Accounting

As part of MNP’s Assurance & Accounting team, you will assist in various financial processes while engaging with a diverse array of clients. This position demands flexibility, as you will be involved in bookkeeping, tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, while also addressing discrepancies and errors collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in tax preparation and auditing processes
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, and payroll transactions
• Execute month-end and quarter-end closing tasks
• Reconcile GL accounts and manage discrepancies
• Facilitate communication with government agencies
Requirements:
• Holding an accounting degree or relevant certification
• 0-2 years of accounting experience preferred
• Experience with T4 and T5 forms is a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting software beneficial
• Availability to travel as required
