Position: Financial Controller for Construction Firm
Drive financial leadership in a hands-on role with a well-established construction firm in South Western Ontario. As the Financial Controller, guide vital accounting operations while enhancing financial strategies.

Our client, a recognized construction leader, is seeking a Financial Controller to manage accounting and finance operations. This is a dynamic onsite role reporting directly to the General Manager. You'll engage with all aspects of finance, from monthly closings to complex financial analyses of land purchases, ensuring every decision is informed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, and GL

• Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes

• Prepare and publish detailed monthly financial statements

• Analyze land and lot purchase opportunities strategically

• Manage cash flow forecasts and daily banking across projects

Requirements:

• CPA, CGA, CMA, or CA designation required

• 5+ years of accounting and finance experience in construction

• Proficiency in full-cycle accounting and cost control

• Familiarity with Sage accounting software preferred

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
