Location: Whitby
Step into the Finance Manager role at Pro Ampac's Whitby facility, where your expertise will lead financial operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This full-time position requires on-site presence and direct leadership.
As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, guide your team, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Your insights will play a pivotal role in assessing financial results and improving operational efficiency. Collaborate with key stakeholders to support key business objectives and enhance financial integrity within the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a team of two accounting professionals
• Manage financial reporting and accounting functions
• Support the annual financial close processes
• Analyze trends and operational performance metrics
• Ensure accuracy of inventory-related accounting activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
• CPA or progression towards CPA preferred
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
