BDO Canada is seeking a dedicated Manager for its Financial Reporting & Insights team. With a focus on high-quality financial reporting and compliance for privately held businesses, you will lead multiple engagement teams to ensure technical excellence. This role emphasizes mentorship and strategic growth in our FR&I practice, enhancing both personal and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial reporting and compilation engagements across clients
• Provide technical accounting guidance and mentorship to team members
• Lead preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns
• Drive operational efficiency through budgeting and resource allocation
• Build long-term client relationships and identify value opportunities
Requirements:
• CPA designation required
• Minimum 5 years public accounting experience, including 1+ year as Manager
• Strong experience in compilation engagements and tax returns
• Proven leadership and project management skills
• Proficiency with Caseware, Sage, and Quick Books
