At Stantec, the Project Accountant will report to the Project Accounting Lead while managing the financial performance of assigned projects. You will execute project setups, facilitate invoicing, and ensure compliance with both external contracts and internal policies. Building strong relationships with Project Managers and finance teams will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end financial processes for projects

• Provide excellent customer service to internal partners

• Ensure timely completion of deliverables

• Collaborate on work breakdown structures and invoicing

• Assist in preparing audit support materials

Requirements:

• Preferred degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Up to 3 years of experience in accounting roles

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with Oracle software preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
