Support audit, tax, and accounting work as a Staff Accountant at Baker Tilly in Dresden, Ontario, working in person.
This permanent, full-time Staff Accountant position serves clients through Audit, Review, and Compilation engagements. You will analyze financial information, accounting processes, and operational procedures while preparing tax returns. The work includes client service, reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with Audit, Review, and Compilation engagements
- Analyze financial information and accounting processes
- Prepare complex personal and corporate tax returns
- Provide account reconciliations and propose adjusting entries
- Deliver personal, attentive service to clients
- Enrollment in the CPA programme preferred
- Knowledge of Canadian GAAP and audit procedures
- Understanding of review procedures and tax compliance
- Strong bookkeeping foundation and multitasking aptitude
- Proficiency with accounting software and new programs
