Finance Operations Accountant Waterloo

Apply strong Excel, bookkeeping, and organizational skills to Shad Canada’s finance operations in Waterloo. Work primarily in office with occasional flexibility.

This full-time Accounting Specialist supports accounts payable and receivable while assisting the Finance Manager. The position includes bookkeeping, account analysis, reconciliations, invoice processing, and coordination with university campuses. It also supports financial training and process improvements.

• Collect, interpret, and combine accounting data from multiple sources
• Organize invoices and enter financial information accurately
• Prepare MOU invoices for participating institutions
• Manage invoice collection and payment deadlines
• Assist Finance training and update Salesforce records

• Five-plus years of bookkeeping or equivalent accounting experience
• Accounting designation, degree, diploma, or equivalent background
• Strong accounting and data-entry knowledge
• Resourceful, independent, and effective problem-solving approach
• Experience with Sage, Expense Point, or Salesforce is an asset
