Staff Accountant Audit Tax CPA

This Staff Accountant position serves clients through accurate, timely accounting deliverables. You will review financial records, prepare tax returns, respond to client needs, and support engagement planning. The role includes mentoring junior accountants and co-op students, improving processes, and developing public accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete audit, review, and compilation engagements
Review records for accuracy, compliance, and internal controls
Prepare individual, corporate, and HST tax returns
Respond promptly to client needs and concerns
Train, guide, and oversee junior team members
Requirements:
Postsecondary accounting diploma or degree
At least one year of recent public accounting experience
Pursuit of CPA designation is an asset
Ability to manage deliverables within time and budget constraints
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
