Step into the role of Legal Transcription Associate with Veritext in Whitby, Ontario, responsible for handling crucial transcription tasks. Your efforts will ensure seamless legal documentation processes for our clients.
At Veritext, you will assist in managing court transcription orders, focusing on inputting data and reviewing transcripts for accuracy. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and transcriptionists. You will also be tasked with maintaining confidentiality and handling a variety of documents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record essential information for transcription processes
• Download audio files and check for accuracy
• Review and ensure transcripts meet quality standards
• Assign work to transcriptionists and track outputs
• Create and manage PDF documents of completed transcripts
Requirements:
• 1 or more years of relevant experience
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients
• Familiarity with software like Excel and Access
• Previous customer service experience is a benefit
