Job Type: Full-Time, Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Travel Requirements: 0 – 10%
Overview Support the Supervisor in the management of health and safety, quality of work, and employee coaching within the Shipping/Receiving department.
Key Responsibilities Make real‑time decisions using a Warehouse Management System to allocate work and staff efficiently.
Seek improvements to optimize performance and productivity.
Participate in training non‑unionized employees on material handling equipment (MHE), selection methods, and health and safety.
Manage attendance and overtime for warehouse employees.
Track and submit daily hours to the payroll administrator.
Perform daily inventory of pallets.
Track and report on KPIs and progress.
Conduct SUMO follow‑ups (absenteeism tracking).
Monitor equipment such as Vocollect.
Assign the assembly sector to employees according to seniority.
Generate Shipper/Receiver reports and pull beginning‑day/end‑day reports.
Ensure replenishment of supplies when cases are missing in assembly.
Track and document performance.
Provide support and coverage to shipping/receiving and administrative functions.
Perform administrative tasks such as disciplinary write‑ups and database entries.
Conduct injury/accident investigations, reporting, and follow‑up with employees.
Qualifications College diploma and at least two (2) years of experience in distribution or personnel management (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Proficiency with computer tools related to operations.
Strong monitoring and sense of responsibility.
High value placed on planning and quick learning.
Effective time and priority management with composure under stressful situations.
Salary $49,000 – $67,000 per year.
