Adecco is currently hiring an experienced Administrative Assistant for a full-time, 1-year contract opportunity in Oshawa, ON. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who excels in supporting leadership teams, managing confidential information, and coordinating day-to-day administrative operations in a fast-paced office environment.
In this position, you will provide high-level administrative support including scheduling, correspondence management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and records maintenance while ensuring smooth office operations and effective communication across teams.
- Pay Rate: $33.09/hour
- Location: Oshawa, ON
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Employment Type: 1-Year Contract | Full-time

- Manage a wide range of confidential and routine correspondence, reports, and documentation.
- Prepare, format, and distribute internal and external communications.
- Organize meetings, including agendas, materials, and follow-up documentation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for leadership and staff.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including confidential documents.
- Support scheduling and prioritization of the supervisor's daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing and retention compliance.
- Prepare purchase orders, requisitions, and related administrative documentation.
- Track deadlines, follow-ups, and outstanding administrative tasks.
- Liaise between supervisors and staff to communicate instructions and updates.
- Provide administrative support for reporting, forms, and meeting outputs.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and respond to ad hoc requests.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe tools.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
- Experience coordinating meetings and travel arrangements.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively between teams.
