Office Manager (Full-time, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm) | Aspira Bartlett Oshawa 55+ Lifestyle Apartments

Salary: $49,117 – $61,397. This posting is for a new position.

About the Role
At Sienna Senior Living, our commitment to enhancing the daily lives of our residents guides our leadership and teams who oversee vital functions such as culinary services, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration. The Office Manager oversees day-to-day administrative functions and processes at a Lifestyle Apartments, creating an enriching experience for both Team Members and Residents. This role manages Tenant Accounts, accounting procedures and records, bi-weekly payroll submissions, and other administrative functions.

What You Will Be Doing

Facilitate the move-in and move-out processes for residents and their families, ensuring completion and compliance of contracts and other documents in accordance with organizational and legal standards

Process annual rent and additional charges to tenants' accounts

Generate billing for residents and manage reconciliation of invoices, payments, and tax documents

Address and resolve financial inquiries from residents, families, and vendors; escalate complex issues as needed

Maintain precise records, provide monthly reports, and explain discrepancies in accounts receivable/payable

Oversee a petty cash system

Create and manage Purchase Orders and maintain purchase journals

Compile and submit bi-weekly payroll reports for timely processing

Who You Are

Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or related discipline

Highly skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); good understanding of HRIS, Yardi, and PCC systems

Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail; able to meet deadlines

Strong problem-solving abilities

Well-versed in payroll processes, including time and attendance systems and HR practices

Knowledgeable about non-union employment legislation related to pay

Note:

Bartlett has 24/7 concierge services for tenants; during office hours the Office Manager supports this function
