In this position, you will support the Emergency Department by registering patients and offering vital information to them and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a Medical Office Administration Diploma and two years of relevant experience, coupled with strong communication skills. You will efficiently handle multiple tasks and maintain meticulous attention to detail in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register all Emergency Department patients swiftly

• Provide direction and assistance to patients and families

• Document WSIB and insurance information accurately

• Utilize EPIC registration module effectively

• Answer telephone inquiries and relay messages promptly

Requirements:

• Medical Office Administration Diploma or equivalent

• 2 years recent experience in a related field

• Proven keyboarding skills of 35 w.p.m.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
