Position: Public Works Asphalt Operator Needed
Take on the vital role of Asphalt Operator/Winter Control Operator within Guelph's Public Works. This on-site position is dedicated to enhancing community road safety through efficient equipment operation.

You will be responsible for a range of maintenance tasks, from asphalt paving to winter road control. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle asphalt operations and road maintenance tasks

• Safely manage winter control activities with heavy equipment

• Complete daily reporting and documentation accurately

• Maintain all vehicles and machinery according to standards

Requirements:

• Must hold Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• One year experience in relevant equipment operation

• Valid Class DZ license required

• Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations

• Strong communication skills for public engagement
