Elevate construction project management with the Region of Durham as a Construction Project Supervisor based in Whitby, Ontario. Oversee regional construction projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

This full-time role involves supervising various projects, verifying compliance with contract requirements, and liaising with contractors and engineering consultants. You'll be responsible for scheduling staff, reviewing plans, and approving contract changes, ensuring projects are executed efficiently. Strong leadership and extensive experience in vertical construction are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise project staff and check work accomplishments

• Review drawings and specifications for compliance

• Liaise with contractors regarding project changes

Requirements:

• Post secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent

• Extensive experience in vertical construction project administration

• Knowledge of Construction Act and Heavy Civil Engineering techniques

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and People Soft software

• Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable vehicle
