Join the Operations Department as you report directly to the Supervisor of Public Works. You will handle various heavy equipment, emphasizing both summer and winter maintenance of roadways. Key skills include safe operation of loaders and maintaining public safety during winter control services, all aligned with the City’s commitment to quality customer service and community improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment like loaders and asphalt pavers
• Conduct road maintenance and snow removal tasks
• Perform equipment checks and accurate documentation
• Collaborate in team environments for operational efficiency
• Comply with Occupational Health & Safety regulations
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education minimum
• Class DZ license with clean driving record
• One year experience in relevant operations
• Knowledge of asphalt maintenance tools and procedures
• Strong communication skills and a self-starter attitude
Contribute to Guelph’s infrastructure with your expertise in asphalt and winter operations.
