Make an impact as a Construction Safety Trainer with Aecon on the groundbreaking SMR-X Project. Develop vital safety training programs and ensure high compliance standards.

In the role of Construction Safety Trainer at Aecon, you will be integral in the development, delivery, and management of safety training programs for project personnel. Partner with multidisciplinary teams to identify training opportunities and deliver engaging training experiences that foster a culture of safety and improvement. Utilize your expertise to train staff on hazardous work practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training on Heavy Equipment Operation and Confined Space Entry

• Track and report on employee training completions

• Collaborate in the creation of training programs and updates

• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations

• Mentor teams on effective safety practices and protocols

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Training and Construction Safety

• At least 5 years of relevant training experience

• Understanding of OHS regulations and standards

• Capacity to lift 50 pounds and climb equipment

• Demonstrated leadership and adaptive communication skills

Lead safety initiatives and cultivate skills that contribute to a safer work environment at Aecon.
