About the Opportunity
Infinity Generation Services Inc. (IGS) is a certified Indigenous and Woman-Owned contractor supporting Ontario’s power generation sector. We are looking for a motivated Project Coordinator / Estimator
to join our growing team.
Reporting to the Lead Project Manager/Estimator, this position will support projects from estimating and tendering through execution and close-out, with responsibility for project controls, costing, procurement, scheduling and client communication. This builds on IGS's existing Project Coordinator role, which combines project coordination with estimating new work.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project startup, including project budgets, cash flow forecasts, preliminary schedules, purchase order acceptance and job setup.
- Prepare and maintain project organization, communication and contract tracking documentation.
- Monitor project plans, schedules, labour hours, budgets, commitments and expenditures.
- Prepare weekly project cost summaries and assist with monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reporting.
- Monitor job costing and identify cost or productivity trends that may impact project performance.
- Prepare project progress reports and schedules for internal teams and clients.
- Track project progress and the quality of work performed by trades and other project stakeholders.
- Review contracts, project costs and WIP for areas of risk and assist in correcting deficiencies.
- Track and manage Contemplated Change Notices (CCNs), Change Orders and other project changes, including estimating associated costs where required.
- Chair or participate in project meetings and prepare/distribute meeting minutes.
- Maintain effective communication between clients, Project Managers, field teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support project procurement and coordinate material and equipment requirements.
- Assist with accounts receivable/payable and related project reporting.
- Prepare substantial completion documentation and coordinate required project close-out documentation.
- Assist with required client and project reporting, including applicable OPG/Bruce Power documentation and IGS Quality Program requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and required Observation and Coaching activities in accordance with company policies and OHSA requirements.
- Travel to project sites and client locations as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The estimating component expands on IGS's existing responsibilities for preparing construction estimates and analyzing tenders.
Qualifications
- Degree/diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field OR equivalent technical/construction experience
. - Experience in project coordination, estimating or construction is preferred.
- Ability to read drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Strong understanding of construction costing and project controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Project and/or Primavera experience is an asset.
