From our early days building infrastructure and developing communities, to our more recent work in the heavy civil and mining, residential, and aviation sectors, we have always been driven by our commitment to safety, quality, integrity, sustainability, and success.
Ledcor is hiring a Stations Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a major GO Transit project in Oshawa, Ontario. In this role, you will lead the construction of a new transit station, overseeing civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams, you will play a key role in delivering critical transit infrastructure that will serve the community for years to come.

Lead and coordinate station-related construction activities, including civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes
Liaise with clients, designers, consultants, engineering teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and maintain project alignment
Develop and implement construction execution plans, including staging, sequencing, logistics, procurement, equipment, and subcontracting strategies
Manage technical reviews of design documents, identify constructability concerns, and recommend solutions to optimize project delivery
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, safety programs, and environmental regulations
Review and coordinate project schedules, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain key milestones
Manage change requests, RFIs, field instructions, and scope modifications while minimizing impacts to schedule and budget
Lead client communications, progress reporting, stakeholder meetings, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Support commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities, ensuring all systems and deliverables meet contract requirements

Qualifications:

8+ years of civil construction experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager for a General Contractor is required
Completion of post-secondary education in civil engineering or a related field is required
Professional Engineer license in the Province of Ontario is an asset
Previous experience delivering station projects, transit facilities, or passenger transportation infrastructure is strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction activities and coordination requirements
Experience working within active rail corridors and a thorough understanding of rail corridor requirements, permits, and work planning processes
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining quality standards
Strong understanding of contract administration, change management, scheduling, quantity tracking, and project controls
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and other construction management software, along with excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
